I'm looking to extend my garage by adding more sections - or at least this is one option I'm considering. You can usually get the sections relatively cheap second hand but you've got to move the things and I'm quite aware how these things can quickly add up weight wise so I'm trying to work out what sort of weight I'm looking at per panel to work out from the various local offerings how much total weight we're talking about. i.e. could I hire a trailer and shift it behind the Discovery or am I looking at hiring a 7.5t flatbed truck. Can I do it in one trip or do I need to make two. And so-on.
And of course how many mates do I need to bribe with beer to help load and unload
I'm discounting almost all of the "free if you dismantle" garages because that's invariably down to them still having an asbestos roof that the owner doesn't want to deal with properly.
I'm aware there are variations but I think mine are Henderson branded. They are 600mm wide and maybe 2m tall (or possibly imperial equivalents - might only be 1.7m as I haven't actually measured that yet).
