Any recommendations for a good quality or brand of 1/4" screwdriver tips that will last?
I got a couple of the milwaukee boxed sets when they were on offer, only really used the the PZ2 bits but they dont hold up to as much use as wera, i would not get them again.wera or milwakee for me

But i might of just got a bad batch.
Would assume the bit holder is designed to allow some torsion between the drill and bit. If there giving up that quickly can't see it making a huge difference.I bought a small pack of the impact black Wera's (PZ2) and destroyed all of them in short order. They are hard but for my use too hard, they explode apart, made me get into the practice of using safety glasses with the impact. Wera make excellent tools in every other experience I’ve had, just not the impact bits. A couple people I’ve mentioned this to said an adaptor is needed but all other bits have been fine without. Most of my use is only in a 10.8v Bosch, large screws but in soft timber so nothing compared to a 18v tool.
I have had much better luck with the standard Wera bits as supplied in the fabric wallet with handle, not impact rated but much better.
Dewalt and Milwaukee versions I have found very good, very few failures in comparison.
Even though there are standards often some bits fit different screws better. Recently I've been using some 50mm Wera ones in my impact driver, I like the fact they are long enough with having to use a holder. They are also harder to loose.
Agrees with @eLuSiVeMiTe Reisser screws are top draw, bits fit very nicely in them and they screw in like nothing I've ever used before.
