Had very good life out of these in my impact.
I have these too, can't complain.

Get a howdens account of you can.Reisser are one of my favourites too always from toolstation
They have there uses.I suppose the almost universal change from a screwdriver to a power tool means the inevitable shift to a better drive connection - I use torx screws for every new job now.

Much cheaper to buy a bulk box from them.
Not sure. Need to grab some more next time I visit so il let you know.

Depends if you need that many in one size lol. I always need a mix. Il see what there prices are on big tubs next time.
Trouble is I use every size and more in that pack. Better off buying multi packs more often for me than big buckets unless I'm doing a lot of one particular job.
Use gold screws from SF often. Almost as good as rieser. Nice positive location of the bit and no cam out. Also cheaper.

cost is a trade off mate.I prefer the turbo gold myself

About the cheapest decent screws going.
Spax are always good but again way overpriced.
Might have another look at wurth see what they can do in bulk for me.

Pita for me. You need to be plumb to the fixing to use and not always possible when working in confined spaces. Good quality posi gives you a bit of wriggle room and not changing bits everytime you pick a different sized screw is a big plus.
Just carry several holders with the bits already in.
If for an impact driver worth buying impact specific bits. Even good quality dewalt/wera as above will suffer.
Bought a bosch set from screwfix and the quality was vg too. Pz2 I used a lot on my impact lasted a good many screws. Cheap screws killed it in the end. Travis perking screws are awful much prefer reiser
Luckily for me, the only woodscrews my local stocks are Reisser. I've been trawling through my boxes of old van stock that I'd amassed while on the road and came across several boxes of various-sized anonymous screws I'd acquired sometime, somewhen. The quality varies tremendously, some of them are so bad I now recall why they were tossed in the box and forgotten about. Others are ok, but nothing to write home about.Agrees with @eLuSiVeMiTe Reisser screws are top draw, bits fit very nicely in them and they screw in like nothing I've ever used before.
