Screwdriver anti slip compound

As per tittle, Can anybody remind me of the name of the compound that aids grip on screws etc, I believe that it was used quite a lot in the aircraft industries, Tank you,

It reduces a screwdriver's ability to cam out of the screw so increases the torque available to shift a stuck screw. It does work for screws in good condition that have been thread locked into panels.

The paste apparently is full of minute hard cubist grit that can bite into the screw and driver, giving extra grip to help prevent cam-out

Sounds like a useful thing for when you want to get a screw out of a casting or similar and it needs a bit more persuasion. Probably worth a shot before drilling and using a broken screw extractor...(which is what I’d normally do)

Cut the finger off a nitrile glove and put it between screw and screwdriver.

If camming out is an issue then you do need it. Used it earlier in fact on the two small JIS heads some idiot decided would be useful to hold the wheel bearing lock plate on my Navara in with.

much more elegant solution than a staked tab washer but not road salt friendly!
