Not much has happened but we've just had three solid weeks of 30+ C temperatures and I have no AC in the Saab (in fact all of my cars lack AC).
So I bought this recently. Sanden SD508 compressor with saab mounting bracket, evaporator with expansion valve, receiver/drier NOS, condenser.
I'm gonna need to get one of those tools for straightening out the fins on the evaporator.
Still need a AC pulley (bolts on to the crankshaft pulley) and tensioner with idler. Anti-frost thermostat and low pressure switch, likely a thermo switch of some kind too. An extra fan as well.
AC hoses and fittings too, I got myself a AC hose crimping tool so I planned to make my own.
Two relays also needed for compressor and fan but I looked at the pinouts and two generic 30A relays of this style should be compatible.
And an AC button. Most of the wiring is already in the car.
