Rustbuster dont do the Milspec ASTM wax any more

As per the title, they no longer do this and are only offering lanlin based products.

I really liked the ASTM wax and have used gallons of it over the years and found it highly effective. Primarily i used on suspension parts and subframes etc on cars, areas where using underseal just looks crap.

Any thoughts on an equivalent product?

Having spent years working with some of the complete dross the military specify and use, I wouldn't put much faith in anything thats got "milspec" written in front of it.

Lowest bidder always wins.

Same as things made from "Aircraft grade aluminium" means nothing.

It looks like the ASTM designation refers to a petroleum-based wax, so anything of the same composition would be similar.

Traditional WaxOil and other products that are similarly named all fall into the same category.

I apprecate theres lots of different one available. Just that the rustbuster one proved to be more resilent in service than any other one ive tried
