Where do i start ! Well it was warm and dry enough today so i thought seize the chance. Lot of prepped stuff, mostly interior trim parts, coil packs cover and the sills got chucked in last minute !
It didn't start well as i ummed and ahad on the mix finally finding the correct one. fans on, compressor on start wiping stuff down and start with an easy to prepare panel. Didn't happen the new fast mover gun just threw paint at the test sheet, upped the air, no difference, open the fan, no difference, opened the needle adjust men't no difference, panicked and pulled the gti which has been hanging up 2 years but ready to ! 1.4 tip took a bit too get the orange peal out but got loads done .... pics !

Take the nozzle out and check that the part it screws into is tight and undamaged.

@ajlelectronics Stripped down the gun all seemed fine, put it on the airline as the tank has air still in it, the fan doesn't seem too have much pressure, so i got the 1.8 fast mover out and that was the same although when i did some epoxy the other day it 'seemed' ok, maybe i'm not used too these new type guns

Set 20 psi at the gun inlet with the trigger depressed to allow just air flow. Wind the air valve (rear lower control) to wide open first and leave it like that.
Unwind the needle adjustment a couple of turns and you should start seeing paint delivery. Wind it out sufficiently to give the spray density you want. The fan should be a few inches wide at six inches from the work, you won't get the fan width that a conventional gun will offer. The lower side control should alter the fan shape.
It should be no more difficult than that.

I'll give that a try next time i have painting to do, seems quite a narrow fan ? would have been ideal for small parts
Yes, LVLP guns are "touch up / repair" guns rather than "respray / production" guns.

Looks good, but being very picky, you have "modern car" orange peel in it. That has various causes; low air pressure, underthinned paint, low temperature and too much paint being delivered. Once you find the sweet spot you get a glassy finish, lighter coats will amalgamate into the whole as it cures.
