£60 on ebay. Huge loss glad to get the space back and see the back of it!
Some you win and some you lose, just chalk it down to experience!£60 on ebay. Huge loss glad to get the space back and see the back of it!
reading this thread i reckon you still won...gone down the road never to haunt you again, sometimes its not about the money..sanity is worth a lot moreYup!
There are good experiences and there are bad experiences but they are all experiences!
a P38 with the 4.6...LOL dont you ever learn Peter. Next thread will be " help my RR is losing water and running rough"Next is a Range Rover I bought as a complete set of spares for mine (both same age 4.6 P38). The engine sounds like a bag of spanners (hence it was cheap) but I suspect it may be that the engine is fine and it's just the drive plate. At least with this one, my expectations are low and if it's just a drive plate I'll be a very happy bunny!
Cheers
Peter
ive had three 3.5 classic RR and one P38 that i had for only 4 weeks, enough said..i used to tow large power boats with my classics and a car trailer no bother. The P38,s where great for all the buttons and toys but imho thats all they had going for them.goodluck anyway Peter.I assume you're referring to slipped liners? I only have it as I have a 3.5T twin axle trailer I use for moving cars (and large items) around. I've looked at other options, but very few 4x4 actually have a 3.5T capacity, most are 2T. I brought the second RR on the trailer towed by my RR! There aren't many other 4x4s with that capacity.
It wasn't that expensive (OK, so it only does 17mpg, but I don't do that many miles!), so when something breaks (and I've learned my lesson!) get rid of it and buy another!
