I have a Clarke 185e Turbo that I've owned since new; this is the first problem I've had.
When I pull the feed trigger, I can hear a relay click but no wire feed. Not sure if that could be a relay/switch to turn on the gas or relay for the wire feed, but regardless, there is no wire feed and no voltage to the feed motor.
Image of circuit board below. Does the black box on the board center bottom contain the relay that I need to check or am I already sunk because the relay I heard was for the motor and it means I have a transformer problem.
If that isn't the relay, where is it?
And what is the next step if the relay is operating?
Does it help to unplug and replug in the wire junctions assuming there might be corrosion, or is that just wishful thinking?
Thanks for any help you can give me.
