This Texecom stuff would drive you insane - really clunky software and repeated issues just a good job I have the patience of a saint.
With the new Texecom Connect hardware here (Rev 36 as opposed to Rev 5 on the used one I had bought before)
Went through the same connection process as before and this time - SUCCESS at last it was able to connect to the cloud and give me an app code.

Going into the phone app then to put this In and I get this screen

I have a connect account now (nearly sure!! It's also clunky and confusing) and then once the panel user code is added which should be the final step I get this:

DAMMIT TEXECOM you did it again. Now what- more hours of my life I'll never get back. They don't answer the phone either which doesn't help.
Edit- I see that I get the same result if I enter anything for the installer ID so maybe that is the issue and it's not accepting me as an installer.
