I hoovered my front grass after I had all my PVC guttering and stuff replaced. The guys used a chop saw, spewing white plastic chips all over the grass. Not the drive, where they could have swept them up, they did it all on my lawn.I don't have a billycoat and I might be sent to an asylum if I crawl around on the lawn with a vacuum

I have an electric one which sucks up and chops grass cuttings etc into fine powder and collects it in a bag.
Category 2 single use nervous system on the TFF stuff. Cock mixing that up and you probably won't need the lawn anymore.This looks promising.....

I knew someone who's brother used to pilot the flying bus service around the Scottish islands. During foot and mouth he tripped coming down the steps and put his hand in the disinfectant tray. Next day it bit him hard, never flew again nor walked properly. Someone mixed it wrong.
You have the entire leaf hopper population of the area concentrated on your lawn because you water it. as matt says stop watering it.

Specific Target Organ Toxicity (Nervous System) without also being classified as Acute Toxic is quite rare... Arguably scarier!
The handling and protection section of the SDS certainly seems to take it pretty seriously too.

They spray this stuff on the food we eat.....
"control of a wide range of pests in wheat, barley, oats, oilseed rape, combine, vining and edible-podded peas, field beans, potatoes, sugar beet, carrots, parsnip, Brussels sprouts, cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, calabrese and pear crops."
I won't be licking the container, sticking my finger in the container or using the whole container in one go.
If I could buy this stuff in 10ml or 50ml containers, I would have.
Product application rate = 100ml/ha
1ha = 10000M2
That gives a ratio of 100ml per 10000M2
The lawn is 5m x 6.5m = 32.5m2
So I guess I need 0.325ml of product
Assume I keep a little bit of pesticide in stock, maybe about 10ml for future applications.
That leaves me with 990ml of excess product.
Does anybody else have a problem with leaf hoppers that need some pesticide?

The linked pesticide is probably NOT the best option for me. It is super strong stuff.
However, I did ask for recommendations for a pesticide and did not get any.
The 'normal' rubbish bug killer you can buy just doesn't work.

I can try it. it is not too expensive and pretty safe.
However, if all of the other 'bug killers' did nothing to them so far, I am not holding out too much hope.

I make up a spray of warm water plus horticultural soap & neem oil.
I thought I'd lost the above bottle of neem oil so bought some from here too:
I went for the above soap as it's biodegradable. That along with the neem oil being natural, I'm trying to be as "organic" as possible.
