spoke to R tech today, they can supply me with the dinse adaptor with the quick release gas fitting, great guys there cant do enough to help!!

You could make or buy a cheap cooler. Then all you need is 1 nice small wp9/20 style torch and your not restricted on your machine or having to use a cumbersome num 26. My wp20 will run at 200 amps @100% and I've made a few coolers in the past for less than the cost of the torch. Just a thought.

Really easy to make Mark, you only need a 3 litre container and a pump, I made one a while ago using a 20 litre plastic container (overkill really) and a central heating pump, I added a Computer radiator & fan but not sure they are really needed, worked brilliant, but when I changed machine I found I didn't really need it as I don't weld non stop all day.

The concept is so easy. I use a minimum 40psi pump 240 volts to keep it all simple a small car oil cooler, a bathroom extractor fan a plastic container. Mount the fan so that it's blowing through the oil cooler sit the pump just in front of the tank and ensure it's feed pipe is slightly higher to avoid water running back to the tank when off. Hook up the fan and pump to a connecting block as they are both 240 v and run a mains cable to them. If your going to mount it all in a nice box ensure you put vents or holes in both sides for the fan to draw in and blow out.

What pump did you use Richard, I tried an aquarium pump but it didn't seem to flow enough.

Aquarium pumps are total useless no where near enough pressure to get round a Tig torch. Last one I did I used a 36psi shower pump and it was terrific. I've never personally used a CH pump but I've heard mixed reviews on them some success some not enough pressure.

Something like this would sit lovely in a home made cooler. The pressure is not stated but I'm sure it would be man enough and I'm sure it won't go up to big money either.

240 volt , 40psi, 17 LPM caravan pump. I would deem this perfect for the job it even has nice points to fix it down. At £60 it's a little on the higher end of what I'd want to pay for a home made cooler but this is the sort of pump I've had most success with. My fronius cooler has a 50psi pump inside.

These are ok but I prefer to keep it simpler with single entry/exit inline type. This should not put people off using the double type though as they work very well you just need a couple of T peices.
