How are people getting on with these?
I've just ordered a cheap set of the H7 and H8, but for under a tenner a set I'm not really expecting much.

Used both sets in lathe and drill, they are both about the same loose fit, useful only for clearance holes.

I used my 6mm dormer reamer (I bought it new) the other day, in a 60 year old mill, perfect press fit for a hardened dowel Pin.

Aye, a reamer that doesn't ream to the size it is meant to is no better than a drill.

When I was doing the turret for my lathe I interpolated the holes on the mill slightly undersize then used YG reamers I bought from Cutwel to take out to size, they were spot on.

Leaving too much material to ream, reaming too fast, feeding too fast can (will most likely) result in too big a hole.

Well a decent set would be nice but I can think of better ways to spend £200. I do have a decent 9.97mm which is dead on size however, its a hand reamer with a long taper, no good in the blind holes I'd likely want to use on.
I dont see why they are so expensive, cant be that more involved than a drill to grind?!

They are fulfilled by amazon, so I think they will be going back, can't think of much else to do with them.
I haven't tried them yet, I don't think there is much point even at just under a pound each.
