Sorry if this is in the wrong section but after some back and forth i thought it feel more into this one than the others.
I have been after one of these for ages but couldn't justify paying out the money for one. However the other day the misses asked me to take the kids old swings down and take them to the tip. They never left the garden

So the next step was to get the bars seperated and cut to length. I want to be able to put the rig into 2 pieces for easy movement when i have to move it round the house everytime it gets in her way :P

Tack welded a piece to make the front half of the frame

Then cut and tack welded a piece for the back part. I will own up now i did cut this piece too long and once it was in place the 2 sections didnt seperate or join up very well but have sorted this later on

At this point it was time to construct the bars for the steering wheel point. But i wanted and needed to be able to bend them into the right shaoe and size to give room for the footpedals and my actual feet haha. But i managed to do some work on my dads car and get his MOT done so in return he got me 4 meters of 22mm tube to do the job. I had to go for 22mm has i was using one of those cheap pipe benders as i am trying to keep this build as close to free as possible, at the end of the day who doesnt like free stuff!
Anyway managed to get what i need bent to within reason using said bender and they just need tweaking here and there to get the to line up

Call it good measuring or an exceptional guess but this is all the waste i had from the 22mm

Obviously i had done my measurments and knew how much i needed before i got it.
