Hi guys,Stevie a here ive newly found this site while i was looking for an answer to a problem with swaping from co2 to pure argon.Ive recently bought a 1980 88" rover with the idea of fitting a new galv chassis. After a closer inspection it appeared more solid than i first thought (ha) so a new sip 150 welder was purchased,£250 instead of £1000.Ive just finnished repairing the rear end and im about to start battle with the front dumbirons and spring hangers. What a difference mig makes over mma (the last landy i had i must have used about 20 kilos of number 12s on it). This time ive used 3mm carbon sheet as i dont intend to be going under it torch inhand for many moons.regards steve a.
