I wonder whether there's not enough current draw to keep it turned on? I have this with some smaller battery packs - they will charge an iPad no problem but if I plug an ESP32 (tiny Arduino like thing) into it, it only powers it for 30 seconds then shuts down.@angellonewolf would you mind trying the DC output? It comes with a cigarete socket adaptor. Mine cuts out if I try anything in the socket. I have to charge the starter to reset it.
One of the reasons I got this one was the dc output. You can use the starter for DC but only lasts 30 seconds.
I have only used mine once to start a strangers car which it did effortlessly. They were previously trying to use jump leads but possibly doing it wrong so I used this.
