I've used my Oxford MigMaker 180-1 with E71-TGS flux core wire & polarity reversed & no shroud to get into awkward places on my old Convoy van.I have thought about buying a cheap gasless mig like the one from Dirty Pro Tools. I believe you can take the shroud off and have a large stick out as there's no gas shield to worry about. Anybody use a welder like this to get into awkward places?
Its a 110v machine…if my memory serves me correctly your 240 in portugal. Doesn't look mig eitherHey guys sorry for re-digging this post, im looking into a mini-compact 220v welder that can do the gasless-gas mig and mma, it would be cool it would have 200amps...... does any one has any good recomendations ?
by the way, what do it think on the cheap new mini-welders?
thanks in advance
They are fairly cheap - used to be only $40 - but they are not new. Try searching for "ZX7-200" on this Forum, you will find lots of entries.by the way, what do it think on the cheap new mini-welders?
