Ah ok, can you utilise the standard roof rack/bar mounting points ? It would be better than drilling holes in the roof and then having to deal with leaks.

Is this a Mercedes SprinterOn my MWB I removed the OE plastic roof rack plugs and fitted 4x m8 rivnuts down each side then used Butyl rubber tape the between the galv unistrut and body. The bolts squeeze the tape and waterproof the whole lot. I try not drill into the body unless I really have to.
I know a lot of people swear by Sikaflex but it's a pretty hash environment on a roof, I think the butyl tape might outlast any glue type adhesive.
