Ah ok, can you utilise the standard roof rack/bar mounting points ? It would be better than drilling holes in the roof and then having to deal with leaks.

On my MWB I removed the OE plastic roof rack plugs and fitted 4x m8 rivnuts down each side then used Butyl rubber tape the between the galv unistrut and body. The bolts squeeze the tape and waterproof the whole lot. I try not drill into the body unless I really have to.
I know a lot of people swear by Sikaflex but it's a pretty hash environment on a roof, I think the butyl tape might outlast any glue type adhesive.

No,
Drilling holes is fine,
It already has several from the Awning, they have not caused any problems previously
And the two new 400mm roof vents,
If the Sikaflex sticks/adheres as they say it does, I cannot see why it would leak if it is applied to the brackets, with additional rivnuts/bolts, that are suggested to attach with only Sikaflex,
Surely if the Sikaflex holds, you will not get any leaks
Time will tell.

edit: I do not recall seeing any roof rack mounts,
I will have a look on Tuesday,
See the above post does make me look at the roof fixings in a different way,
Then there would be the customer to deal with

Yeah but it's probably very similar to the Citroen.
I'm sure there will be mounting holes for a roof rack, I'll be amazed if not.

I have had a quick web search,
And they do appear to make roof bars and racks for the 2006 onwards Citroen Relay,
So it must have roof mounts.
The next problem would be The Customer, tight would be an understatement

So it must have roof mounts.

The current Relay/Ducato/Boxer ones are 'T' shaped pegs welded into the roof (they don't unscrew). Any mount needs to hook underneath it and clamp down on the top.

Thule make feet to fit them, but I think they're at least £10 each.

You could always fabricate something, but I wouldn't bother, personally - Glue & a mechanical fixing.

My tuppence worth: I used Sikaflex alone to stick the solar panel on top of my sailing boat, it withstood several years of trampling by crews' boots and deluges of seawater and rain, and when it had to come off for other maintenance, it was a bar steward to remove.

It 'rings a bell', because I have seen those roof rack fittings before,
But as it now appears, not to be, on a Citroen Relay roof,
But on a Citroen Berlingo/Peugeot Partner roof,
I have just swopped a roof rack from a Berlingo Van to a Berlingo Multispace for the new owner.
