I mainly used motorbikes, the car was really just for the winter weather. I had previously had an Escort Mexico that I tuned up to the extent it was difficult to drive sensibly, the Morris was a reaction to that - it had been put in a garage during petrol rationing and forgotten about, so little used when I got it. I have always liked the style of late 30's cars with running boards.

unfortunately not.
mine was a real dogs dinner version that was built up from a rolled HS that was re shelled into a four door saloon.
it did surprise a few people though.
It was built by a friend and i bought it and ran it for about 2 years.
It did however introduce me to Mr B Blydenstein and that came in very handy when i raced an astra

I restored and raced a Gullwing Marcos. Plywood with glassfibre doors, bonnet and rear wings.
In an accident the plywood would either bend but not break or if a big crash, dustpan and brush.
Mine has recently come back from Japan.
The Piper GTT (my avatar) that I restored and raced has also ended up in Japan.
