ok, the only thing I notice on the cord is it bites /melts itself into the layers wound under neath after a while on the drum sometime stopping the auto bump extention of the cord , meaning I have to take it apart /un tangle re thread or cord it , other than that brilliant tool.They dry out and get brittle.

Thanks for posting, I wasn't aware of these being available. This strimmer with its accessories is comparable to a couple other brands for the price, but personally, I don't need the accessories so will consider other options.How about one of these - 3 year warranty and not a lot of money...

Strimmer cord/line doesn't require special storage. Mine's just chucked in the van on its roll.
