We only had the bottom of a 40 gallon drum filled with Jizer, and most of that was the sludge lying in the bottom.
It certainly never cleaned our hands, just spread all the oil and dirt around a bit.![]()

He's going to have to factor in the barbed wire fence, armed guards and watch towers though.A friend has his own pump and tank on his property and just got 1800ltrs of diesel direct of the supplier at £1.98 ltr.

Im half hoping they do. There's very few people under the age of 50 who have never experienced a power cut, let alone candles for light, winter with no heating. It might focus a few minds in all walks of life, and hopefully the talking heads in power might start feeling the heat from public anger......and when that 6x3 sheet of glass glued to their thumbs suddenly goes dark and cant be recharged...hopefully all hell will break loose.....its long overdueI've always said that the average person won't realise until the lights go off!

Luckily I'm in London...reckon our lights would be the last to go out.Luckily, I have several million candles my mum was holding in reserve from the three day week era

The company I worked for at the time of the 3 day week got a huge gaslight thing on a tripod & a Calor bottle, so we could keep the trade counter open. Never ever used it at work, but it did light my garage up a treatLuckily, I have several million candles my mum was holding in reserve from the three day week era. I'll be able to see the work laptop, even if I can't use it![]()
I had left the company several years when someone must of said “what happened to those gas lights” & I had to return it.Im half hoping they do. There's very few people under the age of 50 who have never experienced a power cut, let alone candles for light, winter with no heating.

My dad had a couple of Tilley lamps so during the power cuts there would be one in the kitchen and the other at the top of the stairs, he just had to pump them up regularly. The company I worked for at the time of the 3 day week got a huge gaslight thing on a tripod & a Calor bottle, so we could keep the trade counter open.
