Recently had large solar instal including 2 x 12kw batteries, but im still dumping up to 26kwh back into the grid some days in Feb!! installer says will likely be up to 40kwh per day in summer.I wonder if the prices for used 125 motorbikes and scooters will go up now too? They're already cheaper to run door to door than public transport, with fuel prices climbing. 150 mpg from a Honda CB125 seems pretty attractive under the circumstances.
If you fix the bodywork on this it would be a cheap EV:Have been looking at getting electric Car/Bike as another way to use surplus, but bikes are stupid money. £4K for a 125cc equivalent.
Good C90s at a sensible price are hard to find. The C125 , a far better bike, can be had for similar money. The Vision 110 can be had new for about £2000.Recently had large solar instal including 2 x 12kw batteries, but im still dumping up to 26kwh back into the grid some days in Feb!! installer says will likely be up to 40kwh per day in summer.

C90 step though looks on the cards. just not the field bike variant this time.

Just looked even they make £2kI give you the Honda 2014 AFS110i - the evolution of the humble C90 - 4 gears - electric & kick starter - centre and side stand - 8.5hp 108cc - lights that work - disc front brake - forks that work - 120mpg + - 99kg dry weight - £26 a year RFL. That's mine... (had it nine years).
In Asia - that is a family car...![]()

Oil hit $119pb in early trading, down to $102 now panic has slowed. still not good for Air travel & all other things that have become addicted to cheap fuel.
As personal transport for commuting they make so much sense, and with the cost of living generally, already high travel costs and the added fuel increase I imagine many will start looking at them seriously for urban travel and commuting. If we have a dry-ish summer they will be in high demand.Paid £1350 in 2017 for a 3yr old one with 5k on the clock.
Think CB125F new at £2999 to £3299 on the road - the best price/highest MPG little bike you can buy now.... (that maybe what I replace my Honda Wave with).

When factories turned out in the 70's for shift changes - there was a steady stream of cycles and mopeds coming out of the gates....As personal transport for commuting they make so much sense, and with the cost of living generally, already high travel costs and the added fuel increase I imagine many will start looking at them seriously for urban travel and commuting. I think many who aren't familiar with riding a motorbike often overlook how much they can shorten journey times without the need to break speed limits or laws. Simply working your way through/past congestion makes a huge difference. My workshop is 1.25miles from my house - the traffic is dense - the speed limits are 30mph one way - or 20mpy the other way. If Ichoose the third route option - the bypass - that is 40mph speed limit.
