I have recently purchased Samsung series1/150 242 led monitor The receipt calls it a 109/9539 Samsung 24 in monitor (new). That doesn't seem a lot of info i know but that's all there is on the box and receipt.
This was bought to be used at my works for use with a cad cam. I tested the monitor at home to make sure it was all working. This is where my problem is arising, I'm not sure if it's at fault or these monitors are piles of garbage.
Being relativity new to led flat screens I'm not particularly clued up. After setting up the monitor getting the angle right, contrast brightness, etc. Its all fine if you are smack bang square on in front of the thing, now lets say instead of slouching in your chair you sit up so your raised i dunno 4 inches say, now the screen is like 'blooming' like the brightness and contrast has gone up by 50% or so to the point where your eyes want so start bleeding. I know a lot of flat screen type screen don't have the same angle range old style ctr's, But the screen I'm using now an Lg, I can move up a foot or left and right and its all very readable its not perfect but it does not go all 'bloomey' and bright on me.
This monitor will be used near the machine so i need to be able to look at if from different angles and actually be able to see the darn thing.
Is the nature of some monitors (if so its dire to say the least) or would you see this as fault with the monitor?
Many thanks in advance.
Kind regards,
Scott
