Afternoon Folks,
I'm working on a body shell on a rotisserie, which is a luxury. I'm in the process of painting the inner wings, engine bay etc. I've touched up some of the stone chip on the underside where I made some small repairs. I started to remove it all, but they metal underneath was in great condition and the origional underseal was still flexible, so I left the rest.
The question is this. Has anybody painted over stonechip (3M Body Schutz or similar) etc with a body colour? Supposedly 3M don't think it's over paintable. It would be nice to have something other than black. I've also considered painting over the underseal etc with tinted Upol bed liner.
Right, I hope that this isn't a stupid question.
