Hey guys,
I recently painted some car parts in 2K paint and had an epoxy base coat.
When fitting the parts and tightening the bolts the paint in that area lifted and any knocks easily chipped away little chunks of paint. This is not something that I have ever experienced with other car parts previously. Why is it so easy to remove when everything else needs a flap disk to remove?
I didn't use a top coat as the lad in the shop said it wasn't necessary could this be the cause?
