The worse tool ever invented was the morning dick head alarm clock..most of us have one...it never fails to do its job and does it well...and most of us hate it with passion.....
i hope u use a safety chain when working overhead with one. i was working on a job and there was a powercut and the rotabroach dropped of and twa.. ed .somone on the headMag drill, Im frightened to death of them.
Safe enough when used correctly, but its when you get tempted to use them on unsuitable surfaces (upside down, hanging off a building for example) to save a bit of time
cheers mate i will knock one of those up when I make a thread cutting tool like @doubleboost uses.
I think these tool/machine manufacture's should take in consideration about the peoples using them.instead of saying yet that will do..it will be alright..after its gone off into one and chucked us around the workshop and done a oners worth of damage...
It's an Elliott 181, the problem is that it's on a pallet and there's a chance I might be able to borrow a pallet jack so I don't want to try and get it off. Also, where I want it, against a wall, I won't be able to get the new motor in so it really does have to stay there until then. What sort of milling machine is it? I have always managed to move my machinary around, using lengths of round steel as rollers, and a pinch bar, gat a few friends in to help.

I am known for overkill.....lolIf you're turning one up yourself, I'd suggest you make it fairly 'meaty'. The bought ones are pretty flimsy ...and feel it!
why dont u just ask the consultant at the hospital what the score is instead of just getting advice that may not be correct elswhereI'm in a quandry I have an Oxford oil filled welding set, but because I have an implanted pace-maker device I'm afraid to use it incase, it upsets my ICD
Are there any members on here, who arc weld with a pace-maker fitted?

I was watchin OCC today and Rick got his glove caught in the drill press, ripped right through the glove and tore his skin away, dang if that ain't plebs at work I don't know what is,if he'd have had a guard on the drill he wouldn't have visited A&E
Struggled to turn it off he did when accident occured.
