My parts washer, the low solvent degreaser won't clean jack and I can't have anything that flammable with my set up
could you post a pic up of it please? It has to be my hole cutting fly cutter ...so useful, saves buying lots of hole saws that I'd probably only use once, but I'm always waiting for the cutter to break free and embed itself in my skull!
Told you it would be better coming to my place. lolI kinda hate my milling machine in a way, I've had it nearly 5 months and I still can't use it but it's stuck slap bang in the middle of my workshop and I can't move it.

But I love it though. Tell you what, I'll do you a deal, you give me six hundred billion pounds and I'll give you my mill.that milling machine should come my way then.....
cant think of any kit I hate...
terrible contraptions, I used them for years until last year when one let go and ripped my thumb wide open (the webbed part thingy ) a few stitches later binned them and now have a hydraulic floor standing compressor, never changed springs so fast, a great bit of kitI don't hate any of my gear. I have respect for a lot of it, perhaps most notably suspension coil spring compressors. My 9" grinder is a darling, never had an issue with it, can happily work with it.
I can go to six hundred million billion ... but only if it's deliveredBut I love it though. Tell you what, I'll do you a deal, you give me six hundred billion pounds and I'll give you my mill.
No takers?
I'll just keep it then.
Ah... and on that note, and not quite a tool, but axle stands. I hate being underneath of 2 tons of metal with the wheels removed...Mag drill, Im frightened to death of them.
Safe enough when used correctly, but its when you get tempted to use them on unsuitable surfaces (upside down, hanging off a building for example) to save a bit of time
What sort of milling machine is it? I have always managed to move my machinary around, using lengths of round steel as rollers, and a pinch bar, gat a few friends in to help.I kinda hate my milling machine in a way, I've had it nearly 5 months and I still can't use it but it's stuck slap bang in the middle of my workshop and I can't move it.
