Might be worth a stupid offer as it's difficult to collet?Noo.
There only 5 minuites away from me .
Can't justify the cost given I'm off work

I'm fairly modest these daysThere are a couple of pairs of DM4 for not a lot on EvilBay, they're pretty impressive for oversize "bookshelf" speakers.... Classic (70s) B&W sound terrific and can fill a room on a few watts, love 'em

Never finish a tune enough to mix it lolI've a pair of little KEFs on the desk in the racket room, sound good as it's only about 10 x 8 foot (and my electronics bench has to fit in as well...!) and I'm up close, fine for working on a tune, but for a final check on mixes/"masters" it's on to the DM2s in the lounge where there's a bit more air to move...

I was tempted with your link above but the kids would destroy them. When there older il look for some new speakers
In my bid to declutter would a smart tv be the way to go for TV, pooter and radio?
Bob
I wouldn't mind putting one to use. Have an abundance of hdd here.No the browsers in smart tvs are not very good, a small format PC behind the TV would be a better option. I have a load of i5 media players with trashed hard drives, they need a hard drive or solid state drive plus windows so probably not worth it but you are welcome to one if you want it.
I will see how many power supplies I managed to get, will probably be tomorrow before I get chance to sort through the van.I wouldn't mind putting one to use. Have an abundance of hdd here.
Agree re smart TV Interfaces. Fire tv tia USB works very well though and voice Control works well
Used Plex to serve media to it for a while.
No rush at all. Would be appreciated whenever. Gave my media donor to my bil a year ago and never looked for another projectI will see how many power supplies I managed to get, will probably be tomorrow before I get chance to sort through the van.
Edit: Linux and plex would be a good use for them. If I don't have power supplies I can get them when we are back to work because I have a wall of twelve screens and players that have to be changed. Now would be a perfect time, nice and quite but not allowed on site for the foreseeable.
If you have a Colchester lathe make sure whatever system you install goes up to at least 11 so it drowns out the noise![]()
1000 rpm that is luxury, some of us can only dream of 1000rpmMy old Triumph is very quiet and smooth even at max speed - which is only 1000rpm sadly!
Dare I mention Raspberry Pi plugged into the TV - shove Kodi Media Player on there and you can stream stuff online, put your music on it. All played through the TV and controllable from it's remote.
If you do that you can even setup your CCTV cameras to display on it (or at least have the ability to).
If the tv can be wired in to it so I can listen to the box in any of the three zones that would be great
Including the LGs which have the scart sticking out the back of the set which a right pain if you are using a slim line wall bracket.some sets still have the scart socket and you can pick up a signal from there as well
