There was one very similar in one of the workshops where I did my apprenticeship in the early 70's. It was obviously converted from a lineshaft to electric motor and when it was replaced it was found to have a brass plate underneath saying "reconditioned 1890" .
It's modern replacement was nowhere near as good.

Just waiting for the tax on my truck to appear as valid I paid today for it but still says untaxed online and I dont want to get pulled

In my mind if they've taken the money I'm taxed.

Guy is very odd have offered to pick it up multiple times but keeps making excuses i cant at that point , its a shame as i think its a cool old drill i dont need it but i think its worth saving and gives the kids another large lump of iron to wonder what the hell to do with when im gone
