Old DeWalt cordelss tool batteries

I have quite a few old DeWalt cordless tools and i am down to 1 working battery, Has anybody tried the copies from Ebay suppliers? I re-celled a load of my old black and decker batteries with fairly cheap cells from ebay. Pretty easy job sat in front of the TV in the evenings.

You can get an adapter to let you use the new Li-ion 20V batteries on the older style drills etc, Been looking at them myself lately, If you already have some of the newer batteries it's a no brainer,

I just google and checked out the adapter but it says will not work with the nail gun i wanted to keep, but thanks i might see if i find one cheap, But home battery refurb sounds interesting..

I bought a couple of batteries of the same type from a different seller and they've been just as good as the originals, unfortunately on checking my eBay account it was December 2015 and the listing is long gone.

Florien 3ah batteries from eBay have served me well so far. As good as the originals in power and runtime.

Charge in exsisting chargers. 2x 3ah bats cost me £60.

The battery packs on ebay etc maybe a bit of a gamble but so can the cells.
Yer pays yer money and makes yer choice. I had some reasonable success with the Floureon ones but I gather they being faked as well.

Well the ebay batteries look a good idea then, It just my drywall driver and nailgun i want to keep, I think sell all the other items to pay towards my new kit..

I have thought of making a tab spot welder for re celling , I must have a google for ideas.

I reckon the coaxial end looks fairly straightforward and for home use no need for pneumatics etc, just a hand press setup.

I found i had a flureon 18v generic battery today someone used my nail gun and left it in the box it seems to work fine, So i am going to order another from MEbay but i have decided after a sort throught to sell some of my other items quite a shock how many items i have not being used.
