Nope just got his name, mobile number and 2 sets of bank details. I know he has a flat in kings langley and lives predominantly in Essex with his girlfriend. Although there is no sign of her any more on instagram!

Ring him up from a withheld number - for a "measure and quote for the biggest Sq meterage highest value carpet fitting session known to man".
I did this to a Taxi driver who owed me money - he came and picked me up at six in morning on a dark winters morning for an expensive taxi ride to an airport. What he got was me - taking his car keys - throwing him out of his car for walk to the nearest cashpoint!
It is the "greed factor" that will have him knocking at your door - then the shock factor of you opening the door - that will get you paid!
I have spoken to a friend that works in Watford and he is going to ask a friend of his to get him to go and look at the job. I dont think me being there will get him to pay up in the slightest. But if I can at least get an address then I can carry on proceedings.
I have since found out the post code for his flat (or so he said it is. but looking on rightmove no flats have sold in that post code recently)

If it were me, I'd o the fictitious job /quote through a friend. Then follow him to where he live. easy enough!
I had some issues with return of a deposit for some work that the outfit clearly were not up to the job. Fortunately I had a land line number, rang it at an odd time, and his wife answered. I suggested I may be passing over the weekend with some friends on the way to a bike rally, to collect the money.
About 20 minutes later he performed a bank transfer.
The flat may be rented!

Sometimes it's easier to cut your losses and put em in the black book never to deal with again
£350. Not a huge amount. Im not missing mortgage payments or eating beans on toast for dinner by any means. But its principle. And the fact he has made no effort to transfer any money makes it all the more annoying.
Ive had stories of Oh ill pay you over a few weeks. Give me 2 weeks and ill have the money. Im still waiting to be paid from jobs I have done.
I have him as a friend on facebook. He also seems to have reappeared on Instagram on his and his 'company' page. And had replied to my message i sent him earlier. 2 weeks i last spoke to him and he was waiting for payments. he has done more work. I asked where my money is. Still hasnt been paid for jobs from 2 weeks ago or recently.
Oh agreed. I wont be giving him any work or having any thing else to do with him. One friend suggested posting on all his social media photos 'where's my money?'
He posted on one of the floorlayers groups on facebook looking for work. I was quite busy and could use the second pair of hands. told me he was from kings langley so easy enough to get the train to me in Leighton. Didnt realise until after that he resided mostly in Essex

All my working life I have paid suppliers and tradesman on time and in full. I have never knocked anybody - ever!
I expect my customers to do the same to me.
No really - I never let any money due to me go - however small the amount is...
