Although a lot of the boats have similar setups each skipper has his own preferences and it is, for me, important to do things the way they want as long as I am happy it will be suitably strong. Nothing worse than having to go and repair or alter something a few months down the line, thankfully it doesn't happen often especially as a good amount of time doing a fit out is spent discussing ideas etc and finding the best way to do them.Amazing stuff, it’s like a lesson in how a fishing / pot hauling boat works.
Thank you for sharing
I was thinking the same, does not look a lot of room to get the engine cover off.is the rear table covering the engines removable / foldupable at sea if there's an engine problem, or are they working on the redundancy of the other one getting them home? might slow them down, but 150 horses will easily manage that...
Both covers can lift off with engines down. Port side not an issue to access with the table down but starboard side needs the aft section hinged up to gain access from the boat.I was thinking the same, does not look a lot of room to get the engine cover off.
I wondered as you need to take the engine cover off to access the dip stick and check the oil levelE

Wouldn't surprise me if they are electronic monitoring nowadays, last week I spent half an hour looking for the dipstick on the boss's Volvo only to find I was the dipstick as it doesn't have oneI wondered as you need to take the engine cover off to access the dip stick and check the oil level
Nice day for it, calm...Vid of the skipper on his current boat at the weekend, it will soon be his 17 year old sons boat.
Second lobbie out the creel was a good size and age, when I dived and caught similar, I would leave lobster to carry on breeding, the older bigger ones tended to be tough and like eating old boots. 1 to 1.5lbs , make for great eating.Vid of the skipper on his current boat at the weekend, it will soon be his 17 year old sons boat.
