So the next door neighbour decided he would go “green” & install a wood burning stove.
Now the window rubbers, surrounds & gaps in the bodywork of my motor are filling up with lichen. I think the smoke fallout is acting as a natural fertiliser.
I’ve mechanically raked the lichen out several time using soft plastic probes & a tooth brush but the damned stuff is back again.
Anybody got any solutions how to clean it out other than outlined above bearing in mind I don’t want to damage the cars bodywork. A solution that would deter future growth would be most welcome.
