Nice, you'll find loads of uses for it!
When i looked at these machines Swiftcut sent a technician out with it to set up the kit and get it working. Did they not do it for you?
Decent kit. Watch the taper on bolt holes though, it will be out of spec with NSSS, but depends what you are using it for.

Well I have fusion on my computer but I’ll probably put something like plasmacam on my dads laptop. Something where he can just draw straight lines and circles. Was talking to my dad about no matter how many you have you are always one air line fitting short!
looks a nice machine what cam will you be using?
This is the cheapest one they did so it’s designed for diy setup.
We was gonna go for the Pro range but it’s a lot of money to sink into something which we have no idea if it will pay for itself or if my old man can even fly it as I’m not there during the week.
A pro is about £24k in 8ftx4ft.
This was about £7k 4ftx4ft
If all goes well maybe we will upgrade down the line.
That’s alright if you have the time and the electronics knowledge. That is why I made my own
it works well so I know I will never get round to doing it
Taken ages to put together.
Now I’m short an air connector and a Ethernet to USB adapter. Should get it running shortly.
Yes 5l anti rust and a small bottle of tablets.Do they give you the anti rust treatment and anti fungal tablets with that one ?(assuming it’s a water table)
Looking at the price of the tablets when we ran out, we opted to use fish pond ones instead as they are a fraction of the price (the swiftcut containers say not to use theirs in fish tanks so I’m guessing they are a little more potent ).
Definitely but also I don't have the space. If I had someplace I could build a new one whilst still keeping this one running I would be doing it.thats fatal to a project
Crossbow crap. No rigidity.im seriously considering building something like the crossbow as space is a problem and i only do piddly parts will earn it back quickly as my cutter has started charging more
I tell you one thing I’m not impressed with, the Hypertherm 65.
When I worked at ESAB, they had the brilliant cutmaster range (Thermal Dynamics product) made in the USA. Really rugged and well built.
Hypertherm had their machines also made in the USA. Rugged and well built.
Then esab/thermal dynamics went to China. Quality reduced. Price stayed the same!
This Hypertherm, straight away I noticed the handles, brittle ABS plastic. Wobbly things.
Then the label on the back, clear as day, Chinese writing.
Closer inspection. Engineered & Assembled in USA.
Same high price tag, but a low cost reduced quality product.
Next time I see the Hypertherm rep as I did at the swift cut open day I will be telling him exactly what I think.
you are always one air line fitting short!
