Get a clip on amp meter strike up at varying positions on the pot and get someone to write the values down for you.
Another question is how close to empty do you run your tank before swapping it in for a full one. I'm getting close to empty. I don't like to be wasteful. I did forget to turn the tank on today & the only thing I noticed was where I struck the arc up was really hard to clean up so it would take weld. Is it doing anything else to cost money that I shouldn't run it till it is dry. Took me a few second to figure out why it wasn't welding.
AC frequency up nice and high if you have adjustment and a narrower prep on the tungsten makes a big difference.
