just brought a Mercedes to turn into a sports home

Well it's full of hay at mo so gotta wait till that's relocated. Then we're off. Mrs HMB is doing the floor layout plan.

Plus it's gotta house 2 adults, 1 teenager, 1 toddler, 2.5 dogs and 2 race bikes

Could get a mobile workhop in there. Tent for the family. Job done!

She wouldn't wear that. I got 2 mts at back for garage but gonna put double bed over top and drop body down like reverse step frame

Are you putting another body on or building your own? The last one i built i had to have a stiff drink when i priced up insulated GRP

I offered the same price for a canary as I paid for the Christmas Turkey but they wouldn't have it. £4 per kilo sounded good to me.

I converted a 14 cell prisoner transport bus, cost me £2.5k for the truck £3k to be painted, and approximately £12k, to build not including my labour, was offered 38k for it. Turned it down, got stolen a yr later.

Bought almost all the stuff from Magnum Mobiles in Grimsby, guy called Ken, very helpful, and cheap, as most of his stock is over run from the caravan industry based in and around Hull.

Slept 5, fitted out with kitchen, bathroom, dining table/drop down bed, workshop in the back, under body locked, 150ltr drinking water tank, 200ltr wash tank.

Esp when I only got paid out 5k.

Shame I dont have a pictures of the inside, you would have thought you were in a high dollar build.

Biggest problem was it weighed 7.25t dry. Full of water roller cabinets and gear it was more like 8.5t.


I had an awning built for the rear and half the side, that cost me 3k.
