New Job

Morning all. After 15 months of kicking my heals after taking redundancy from my FLT job of 36 years. I start work at Machine Mart today. I have been having problems with my mental health just recently and have put a lot of weight on. I didn't sleep well last night and I'm as nervous as hell as it's a complete career change for me. My commute is twice as long as my last job. Little steps I think.

The nerves will gone after the first few days and you settle in. The fact you are on here means you're likely to enjoy the job, every job is what you make it and you'll be meeting like minded folk buying stuff. Being on your feet all day moving kit around will help with the weight as well. A new chapter, enjoy!
