Cross-slide are different, they're ball type thrust rather than roller. Also cheap in Koyo brand, about £12ea SKF. Can post link in morning if needed.The races seemed ok, but for what they cost I have bought a couple of spares.
Same bearings in the cross slide?, or larger?

That would be great if poss. I've not taken it apart yet.
When I refurbished mine I found that it would pop out and disengage when it had a brand new boot fitted to it, (it had the spring fitted as well)
what I done was leave it in the engaged position with something holding it up in place while the lathe was not in use for a few days and that seemed to stop and didn’t have the issue again
