can't wait to get it finished as i'm knackered
as the weather was good today i decided to crack on with fitting the roof shingles, i was pretty much at it all day and still not finished, but got a good 75% done
it was getting a bit dark when i took this pic but hopefully you get the jist

dunno what u are going to coat it with but did u know u can still buy the original creosote from farm supplies . the stuff that burns u when on skin not the watered down substitute crap that they still peddle
well i've spent a couple of evenings cutting and fitting the insulation. Almost there!
Cutting the slabs with a circular saw made the job alot easier but the dust went everywhere!! fine gritty particles in the eyes and lungs!! i had to fashion a mask from some (clean) boxer shorts as i had no dust masks/sealing goggles to hand!!

Matt. you can cut that insulation with one of those metal blade diamond cutting disks on an angle grinder or disk cutter if you have one, almost no dust at all and very fast too. nice job on the workshop well done.

i came down stairs with my head through one of the leg holes covered in insulation dust and the missus was like WTF?? and couldn't stop laughing!! i hung my head in shame and continued out to the shed

Bit of a mini update, been cracking on with lining the inside which is taking it's time however more interestingly I've got myself a little gadget to go in the shed .
A massive thanks to my mates Allan and Calvin who fetched the milling machine with me from Manchester. We managed to get it off their trailor using some scaffold bars and long ratchet straps taking the tension in turn. It took a while bit worked quite well.
