This trench would bring the water pipe into the wrong place in the garage so I'll just put blue duct in along the 11.8m trench run and extend at my leisure. The leccy is the important thing at the mo.

18in deep for the leccy is fine although I prefer to dig mine a little deeper but for water it's a bit to shallow, thinking about frost.

I'm using this old 10mm² SWA to supply the EV charger.

Thinking to sleeve red with brown, then leave the blue as neutral. For the CPC though...sleeve the yellow or black and leave which one spare?

I think convention says I should sleeve the red with brown, the black with blue, the yellow with earth and leave the blue spare. Seems a waste of blue sleeving! I'll be heat shrinking the whole length of the old core.

You do know that the data cable from the ev charger needs to go back your meter tails dont you for the CT clamp.

you can use external cat 5 cable run parallel with the armored as he already has the cable . ev ultra 6.0mm is about 7 quid a meter

Yep. I have the 16mm² to go from house to garage cu. Then the 10mm² from garage cu to EV charger. Also I have a roll of duct grade Cat 5 cable.
