No way I could get that main earth behind the tails going into the gland. Not happy with it tbh. Had to pack the REC2 off the board by 5mm anyway to bring in line with the L&N tails.

Was mind in a rush to get to the pub so might revisit it. The earth and the pub...

My old neighbour was a sparks. Used to burn all his scrap lead cables in a dustbin lid, over an open fire in the woods behind us. Then he'd pour it into brick frogs and the ingots came out stamped "LBC".

Notifiable works under Part P still needs to be notified.

If you choose to do it as a non  scam scheme member then my local authority certainly want hundreds of Pounds if you choose to tell them.

Doesn't matter a carrot if you are qualified. They'll happily accept your BS7671 cert, any college certs and any proof of competence but still want a big wedge.

Different LAs I believe take a different view.

I should clarify. The small room where the desktop pcs, printer etc has been referred to in this house as "the 'puter room" since the kids were little and couldn't say computer. "STUDY" just sounds better. It does mind have one wall of books.

It has it's own ring. Used be a coal shed / boot room / where they bred rabbits. I lined the walls and insulated it.

The stable is anything but. Falling apart in every respect. "UNSTABLE" might be a better label.

Thinking to make an infill of either ply/plasterboard or two layers of plasterboard. Tightish fitting, then fill the gap with intumescent mastic.

I'd slot the infill to closely fit around the cables.

Before I do this I'll likely put in the gland for the body dryer cable.

I half considered a dry mix of sand/cement that would harden over time if left undisturbed.
