New bike time.

Looks as though I have a new bike?
the Africa Twin I was keeping an eye on that Mr Fuzzy spotted http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Honda-Afr...?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item234f0b3057did not sell; surprisingly.
I spoke to the owner he sounded knowledgeable, I quizzed him about the few known problems on these bikes. and is ok about waiting a few days.
It is in Scunthorpe so a four hour train journey. Looks like a relative bargain to me. And I kind of like the colour scheme.
From what I remember the earlier versions are meant to be better as well.
I like old nails.

I know what to look for as my last one had every single Africa Twin problem straight from the rip off dealer.
Took me weeks to get everything working right. Still the Pan European I Pxed for it was very tired.
I will keep people posted.
There is something very special about these bikes.
Most bikes have a certain speed where they 'Feel Right' with these they feel like that all the time. Balance? no idea. No performance, no power a **** to work on but lovely to ride. And people love them, I have had women fondle my bike! No performance? but get off the ferry from Spain with masses of bikers and be at the services 100 miles later in front of most of them.
Lets hope it is ok.
