Anyone else have too many uncompleted jobs on the go?

My list must be longer than my arms & legs!

A typical example is today where I've done a mixture of jobs, But achieved very little it feels.

Dont know about finishing jobs , as time goes on I struggle to even start them

There's some value, not much compared to li stuff obviously...

Depending what you've got and what you want, I might be interested in the dewalt stuff...

On a tangent regarding clearing out, are old Nicad battery tools worth trying to sell? Batteries are all likely knacked, but there's some Makita, Hitachi, DeWalt etc. gear.

I have re-celled battery packs in the past but it's probably not worth doing these days.

What voltage ? I deliberately got 12v stuff so when the batteries die I just make up a long extension lead with a croc clips on the end and run them off a car battery, What you loose on portability you more than gain with extended run time

motivation is a problem when im doing a job that i know i can fix its fine when im looking at a job like my leak in my car its like a shot in the dark had one go at it sealing all the seams i coud find but did not fix

a week later i looked at it again tonight found a few more seals i missed behind the back light even removed half of the back headlining with luck will have to see

When it comes to automotive repairs I generally get them done straight away. But fabrication & restoration work / DIY Jobs just never get done in a timely fashion. Maybe its due to the fact they're not jobs that are paying, So see little rush to get them done?!

car work i hate diy jobs not a problem i supose its what you like

car work i find i spend to much time checking myself i worry to much wheel falling off at 50mph bad
water leak in a pipe easy fix easy when you have thought about it before fitting leaving easy access panels shut off valves where needed

I think being from an automotive working career nothing really phases me relating to any car repair jobs & I have plenty of tools to get the job done without struggling. But DIY jobs just don't make me want to finish them!
