we used to get given them on ships to wear, them seemed ok but maybe its a placebo thing?! I tend to go for short periods when I do it to be honest, its a job I hate.

I was made to wear a wrist monitor once on one job, I think it gave us about 10 minutes on the needle gun if I remember right?

10 minutes? Luxury! We used them all day (in Rostock on an old trawler) and you carried on vibrating for some time, after work stopped..the krauts call it a 'rust-pistol'.

Damn i hated those needle guns when i was offhore, being a contractor and sleeping off-shift, they always had to needle gun the rig when i was asleep, and usually very close to my room !!
