thanks for the reply,yeah i did consider that and to be fair the part does exist and can be purchased from allard at considerable expense.Cant see it being difficult for someone to run a bead around the alloy tube i have and join it to the manifold.It wont be used with a standard turbo or boost pipes so there is no need to make a OE like standard part.In short welding it is by far the easiest option.
I did think about that as a last resort,but was unsure of where to get steel in that thickness.In all my years of welding cars ive never brought steel usually pick stuff from work scrap binsif you say you can work steel at home or work just make a steel one, get some 6mm plate hole saw in middle correct size, drill your mounting holes weld pipe on, job done!
