Fair point. It will be used for multiple things. Mainly ripping timber and sheets. A handheld circular saw works for a lot of things, but sometimes only a table saw will do.Yes, but you're being very vague with your attempts at humour which just hampers people's ability to help you with your query and guide you on what's best in their opinion.
If you just want to rip down random bits of already squared timber a table saw is suitable, if your intended use is for cutting raw logs into usable square pieces, a table saw is very much not suitable and a bandsaw would be a far better and safer option, if you want to cut 8' x 4' sheets a portable table saw is not suitable and a handheld circular saw or track saw is needed, if you want to cut curves a table saw is definitely not suitable... etc...
It's all about context, no point in buying something you'll never use or injure yourself using if it's incorrect for your intended use.
