Something that turns big woods into small woods. What exactly do you mean by chopping wood?
Haven't decided. Let's keep it below £500. I'm open to 2nd hand if I can nab a bargain.what is your budget they range from cheapest about 90 quid up to literaly hundreds depending on quality power and accuracy
That's exactly what I mean. One with an extendable stand or feet would a plus. It will be stored in the shed so needs to be movable.…and… what do you mean by “portable”?
If you mean it doesn’t weigh half a ton and can fit in the boot of a car then that opens up a bunch of possibilities.

I think you're missing the point. I want a table saw.Chopping wood is meaningless. Saws cut, not chop.
Are you wanting something for precise, large cuts, or something for cutting sh*te up for firewood?
Are the likes of dewalt, makita, bosch etc noticeably better? ideally im after something quality that wont leave me wanting.I've had a rage for site work, super mobile and actually a really decent saw.
Has made a handful of windows and casings with acceptable accuracy
I guess thats the question (that has been asked prior) -
Are we talking stud walls, or jewelry boxes?
Very portable, just drive to where you want to use it, engage the PTO and you're away...

Site work?Thinking about it, why would someone making jewelry boxes need a portable saw anyway?
