Started to use cerakote paints.
Work really well on blasted surfaces.
Did my engine block and came out a treat.
Before blasting, after blasting, and painted one coat

Now you tell me
Is that the "C series" stuff?
Looks good.
Where did you get it?
I was thinking of trying it out on the front calipers of my alfa project.
Thanks @Ruffian I'll give it a try.
The calipers were coated (inside and out) with a very thin black coating.
The Cerakote seems ideal.
The calipers are small enough to fit in an domestic oven so I might try one of the oven cure versions.
It gives a lovely finish - how hard wearing is it? How scratch resistant? Here is the c-sieres gun metal also
Which I think you might like.

I would have said sooner but only just saw this topic
Yep c-105 titanium
Single pack air dry, worked well.
Got some more colours here to do more bits
Got it from cerakoteuk,
Dont get me wrong it's not cheap stuff.
But I we only used 30ml to paint the engine block.
It's a ceramic coating so much thinner than most paints.
Have a look on youtube/instagram for pictures and reviews.
It is suitable for quite impressive temperatures also (lots of people using for firearms in the us)
