Aha - so progress 
Certainly a way of letting the cat see the mouse, so to speak, and quite a bit to do looking at the pics.
It looks like it could be tricky jigging the whole lot to prevent any movement as you're welding. Are you planning to go gasless or is there some way you can shield the work so as to maintain the gas shield.

Can I suggest masking off your lights before spraying, SIP? I know blue lights look nice but I think you're supposed to use blue tinted bulbs, not paint the lenses 
Put your dog in the 'show us your pets' post in the brew room as well. (Assuming it's your dog and not just one that wandered up as you took the pic
